ENTR'ACTEÂ FOR HORN AND PERCUSSION
Commissioned by Trojan Nakade and written for Downing College Music Society (University of Cambridge), to be performed in 'Ballet Russes'. For solo horn, bass drum, crash crymbals, triangle, and crotales.
Inspired by the Russian folk melody, 'Monotonously rings the little bell' ('Однозвучно гремит колокольчик') written by Aleksander L'vovich Gurilyov (1852).
